Custom roles

With custom roles, each person creates their own role from a panel: name, colors (with a gradient if the server allows it) and an icon, with a preview of how it will look in the chat. The role lasts for a while and can be renewed.

Setting it up

/customrole setup posts the panel in a channel (the channel is only for the panel: Catita deletes other messages). You choose:

• the base role: custom roles are created right below it and copy its permissions;
• whether server boosters get their role free for 28 days;
• whether day keys can be redeemed.

Keys

/customrole key creates keys (1 to 20) that grant role days. Staff hand them out and each person redeems them in the panel.

How it’s used

In the panel, Set up my role opens a step-by-step wizard. If you already have a role, you can edit it, add time or delete it; if you had one before, you can get it back. When the time runs out, Catita removes it.
